Dev Blog #149 – Something Wicked

Greetings everyone!

Spooky season is officially upon us! Unfortunately, that doesn’t have anything to do with this dev blog, but… it makes me happy anyway! Today’s post will be on the shorter side, but we’ll have more info to share on more things as time goes on. In the meantime…

Records Keeper 3 – Diana’s Revenge

Update 5.7.2 will be Diana’s final dedicated content patch, adding in her serum nodes for MCS3 as well as her MCSX ending! Players can expect to finalize Diana’s transformation to either pet or master, with a wonderfully bestial reaction awaiting either way once MCSX enters the mix!

This update will feature 4 new serum nodes completing her serum path, one of which in particular will get more than a few of your coworkers involved in the fun. This update is currently planned to drop at the end of October, right before Halloween!

Camp Tasha – Return of the Family

We have 6 new scenes ready to go for the next update, featuring characters voted on by you, the community. For this round we’re getting 2 new scenes each for Ava, Dakota, and Tasha, all of whom are receive both a lewd and wholesome new random event! We’re looking forward to getting these in front of players, as well as starting voting on the next round in a couple months!

What Are We Doing In The Shadows?

Diana is expected to be the last character update this year, however it won’t be the last update! December will see the release of Update 5.8 which will be a wide-reaching systems update. There have been a lot of little QOL items we’ve been wanting to implement into the game and this is a great time to do just that. Among other things, we’re looking at cleaning up the escorting system, bringing Penny’s ISS more in line with others, re-evaluating the Coin/Outfit system, cleaning up The Pit, and laying the groundwork for events to occur outside of Home and Work… specifically at The Mall! Not to mention taking a closer look at any longstanding bugs that have yet to be squashed.

It’s really going to be a matter of seeing what all we can get into one update, as the intention is to hit the ground running early next year with the next character update!
